praise to all the creators
I want to
write about those digital creators, Insta poets, and graphic designers who seem
to kill it on social media. Their work is so relatable that it seems so easy to
them to make such relevant, heart-touching works. Some people call them cheesy, heck,
no way! Some people take it for granted, but as a creator and writer
myself, I can feel and understand that their works have been through a
tumultuous process to finally appear flawless like that.
Their consistency in a digital world is worth two thumbs up; if I had four, I would give them all. To have that persistence on social media is a huge accomplishment, and anyone who can leverage this platform to showcase their works deserves a huge applause. It means they dare to post it, and that’s already something. Sometimes, as artists and creators, we have already so caught up in our real world, catching up on deadlines, fixing endless revisions from A to Z, and... we are expected to make content regularly? Honestly, it's overwhelming.
Yet, I insist
to learn from them. To be courageous, relevant, but authentic. I’m
currently finishing my books that will be submitted to big publishers, and to
make them exposed, I started being more open with my writing and my designs on
my Instagram. Everything else will follow, but I know it's the quality of my
book that will always be my priority.
It all seems easy on the surface, but being a creator is a work between being an artist at heart, an entrepreneur in mind, and an athlete in body to stay fit to do it all.
Stay
sane.
